Alpha-Cim is playing a key role in a major boarding bridge modernization program at Paris Charles de Gaulle Airport. The multi-year project is designed to enhance the reliability, safety, and operational performance of critical passenger boarding infrastructure.
As part of the program, Alpha-Cim is responsible for upgrading and integrating the control systems of more than 130 passenger boarding bridges serving 40 aircraft stands. The scope of work also includes the replacement of over 180 PLCs and operator interfaces, along with the modernization of related equipment such as anti-collision systems and aircraft ground power installations.
Delivering these upgrades within one of Europe’s busiest airports requires careful planning and close coordination with airport operations teams. Work is scheduled to maintain operational continuity while minimizing disruption to airlines and passengers.
Alpha-Cim brings its expertise in automation, system integration, and critical infrastructure modernization. The project aims to extend the lifespan of existing assets while improving equipment availability, safety, and overall operational efficiency. Scheduled to continue through 2028, this modernization program highlights Alpha-Cim’s commitment to supporting airport operators with innovative and sustainable solutions for complex infrastructure projects.
